Terms of service
Last updated:
These terms apply to the website, FaamOffice accounts and the Faam AI Cloud service operated by [OPERATOR NAME]. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. The FaamOffice software
The FaamOffice app is open-source software released under the Apache License 2.0. Using, copying, modifying and distributing the software is governed by that license, independently of the terms below.
2. Accounts
You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password secret. You are responsible for all activity on your account and its signed-in devices. Sign out lost or unused devices from the Account page.
3. Faam AI Cloud and credits
Faam AI Cloud provides hosted AI models billed in credits:
- Credits can only be used for Faam AI Cloud, have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
- Credits are charged per request based on tokens and the model's price at the time of use. The last request may leave a slightly negative balance.
- Credits are granted by administrators (for example, as a sign-up bonus). There is currently no online payment.
- We may change the available models and prices, or pause the service for maintenance.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the service for unlawful purposes or to infringe the rights of others.
- Attempt unauthorized access, scan, overload or circumvent the limits of the system.
- Share or resell access tokens, or use the service to build a competing AI service.
- Violate the usage policies of the AI model providers behind the service.
5. AI-generated content
AI responses can be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing them before use, especially for legal, financial or medical content. You keep all rights to your documents.
6. Suspension and termination
We may disable accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page; remaining credits are lost on deletion.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, data loss or lost profits arising from use of the service.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the new terms.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by [GOVERNING LAW]. Contact: [OPERATOR NAME], [ADDRESS], email: [CONTACT EMAIL].
